Written by Horton Foote
Directed by Mark Stevenson
A comedy with bite. 1928 small-town Texas … Well-meaning Aunt Dolores arranges a date for her visiting niece Sarah Nancy. But Sarah doesn’t respond as a traditional young woman, smiling for the boys; she prefers direct honesty to being sweet.

Fool for Love
Written by Sam Shepard
Directed by Kim Gillis
The play was a finalist for the 1984 Pulitzer Prize for drama. Former lovers May and Eddie accidentally meet again in a motel in the desert, and Eddie tries to convince May to start again. Throughout the play the Old Man sits to the side and talks to May and Eddie and offers commentary. It is revealed that the Old Man led a double life: that he is the father of both May and Eddie, having abandoned each family. The two characters fell in love in high school. There’s less plot to the play than confrontation … and in the end, the Old Man just drifts off, both May and Eddie depart, and May’s date, Martin, is left on stage bewildered to observe it all.
Cast: Scott Ellsworth, Sara Fraser, Mark Knudson, Greg Hughes
