This award-winning drama set in New England in the 1960s was chosen because of the very timely themes that it explores – doubt and conviction in our timtes. The historic St. Paul’s Anglican Church sanctuary was the perfect setting for it. ACT’s production also included a chorus of nuns, led by Carl Mathis, who sang prior to both acts. Cooperation with the community a key to the success of the production – Birchwood Junior High was our rehearsal space, St. Paul’s was highly supportive and religious costumes were borrowed locally. As part of the run, one performance was done at Bonshaw Community Hall
