Description of Show / Reasons for ACT Selecting

The success of MacBeth in 2012 struck a spark with some of those involved and the decision was made to mount another Shakespearian play at Robert Cotton park, this time one of his most well-loved comedies. As with MacBeth,  areas of the park became settings such as Titania’s Bower and the audience was guided – perhaps by one of the spirits of the forest - from one scene to another. A very large cast and production team spent a large part of their summer in the park.
